In July of 2024, these 100 acres of wetland, filtering over 1,325 acres of drainage into Loon Lake, were placed into a Conservation Easement with Loon Lake Land Conservancy.
Thanks to the generosity and commitment of the local families, wildlife, fish and the many recreational users of our lake will benefit through cleaner water and preservation of this land in perpetuity.
