Donations to the LLLC are used to:

  • Acquire conservation easements and properties in the watershed
  • Maintain and protect those easements and properties, including insurance, fees and taxes
  • Implement other projects that may further protect the lake’s wetlands and environment

Gift a Conservation Easement or Open Space

Any project that would enable more of the lake’s watershed to be placed under LLLC protection is of interest to the organization. Please contact us about potential properties that can be protected.

Volunteering

Volunteer

Each year, volunteers donate hundreds of hours of service to help preserve Loon Lake and its wetlands. Volunteer opportunities include outdoor maintenance of Conservancy properties, fence building and maintenance, tree planting, trails work, project development, grant writing, and research.
